 Ministro da Defesa da Armênia, visitara Istambul.
O ministro da Defesa da Armênia, Seyran Ohanyan irá visitar Istambul, nos dias 4 e 5 fevereiro para participar da reunião de trabalho dos ministros da Defesa dos países que contribuem para a Força Internacional de Ajuda à Segurança no Afeganistão (ISAF). A reunião contará com a presença também do ministro da Defesa do Afeganistão, o Representante Especial do Secretário Geral das Nações Unidas no Afeganistão, o Alto Comissário para a Política Comum de Defesa e Segurança. Durante a reunião de referência será estudado a estratégia de trânsito para o Afeganistão, a formação das forças de segurança do Afeganistão, a melhoria das instituições governamentais e da cooperação com os vizinhos. No âmbito da visita, o ministro da Defesa da Armênia, reunirá seus homólogos e visitará o Patriarca armênio de Istambul. Armenian Defense Minister Seyran Ohanyan will visit Istanbul February 4-5 to participate in the working meeting of the Defense Ministers of the countries contributing to the International Security Assistance Force in Afghanistan (ISAF). The meeting will be attended also by the Defense Minister of Afghanistan, the Special Representative of the UN Secretary General in Afghanistan, the EU High Commissioner for Common Defense and Security Policy. During the meeting reference will be made to the transit strategy for Afghanistan, the formation of security forces of Afghanistan, improvement of government institutions, and Afghanistan’s cooperation with neighbors. Within the framework of the visit the Armenian Defense Minister will meet his counterparts and will visit the Armenian Patriarchate of Istanbul.
